The Leadership Excellence series covers the key issues, challenges and opportunities being faced by estate agency owners and their leadership teams based on leadership principles developed by Peter and Property Academy over the last 40 years.


The series comprises two programs:

Create & Conquer your own Everest

Learn how to create a clear and compelling vision for your business. This session includes an Everest model template, which you can download and complete for your business. By the end of the session you will have the knowledge and resources to create a comprehensive business plan that can be printed on one side of A5 paper.


Delivering Customer Experience 4.0

We have entered the fourth era of customer experience (CX4.0). This session covers the three previous eras (Location, Brand, Digital) and explains the fourth era, Anticipative/Proactive.


Action Planning

Learn how to create and implement personal and team plans using a simple process that’s utilised by many leading agents to enable project completion as well as managing BAU (Business as Usual).


10 Rs of Talent Managment

This session addresses every aspect of Talent Management: Recruitment, Remuneration, Reward, Recognition, Responsibility, Review, Retention, Renewal, Removal, Return.


Alignment

Understand that there are 8 key factors that need to be in alignment for a team to operate highly effectively: People, Structure, Processes/Systems, Information, Decisions, Rewards, Environment, Culture and identify those you can improve on.


Culture Deck

Inspired by Netflix and other organisations that have published their internal culture decks, this session will use a fictitious estate agency as a case study to inspire you to create your own world-class culture deck.


The Future Organisational Chart (FOC)

One of the most important tools for any business, the FOC encourages the identification of all the future roles commensurate with your growth ambition taking into account changing market dynamics. This session will give you the knowledge and resources to create your own FOC.


Engagement

In this session you will learn new techniques for communicating effectively to cause your team to give discretionary effort and take responsibility. Understand that people can’t be motivated, they have to motivate themselves, but leaders can create the right conditions for people to become motivated.


Marketing Pyramid

All marketing can be placed into three layers: Essential, Nice to Have, Wow* (*Or Whim?). This session will identify the essentials (to include portals) and emphasise that until these have been properly implemented, additional communications etc. should be very carefully considered.


Modelling

This session will cover how the best leaders behave, in particular the combination of Hunger and Humility. Discover how you can show up in the right way, every day, and take advantage of the saying: “soldiers watch what their generals do.”


Highly Effective Marketing Plan

The HEMP process was developed by Peter Knight and published by Pearson in his international, bestselling book, ‘The Highly Effective Marketing Plan’. It is proven to succeed in every marketplace. It is a simplified version of the methodology used by many of the world’s leading marketing Agencies. In this session, you will be encouraged to create your first HEMP so you both learn the process and will be able to create a HEMP for every part of your business.


Financial Essentials

This session will identify the absolute basic financial details all leaders must understand. Running a branch/department/division isn’t just about growing the topline but managing the costs and overheads to maximise profit.
